Tamia joined the Right Step team in 2021. Since her arrival she has become an indispensable asset and the first point of contact for all who reach out to Right Step. With a background in Criminal Justice and Human Services delivery, she is able to prioritize client needs while assuring clients they are in good hands.

Rehabilitation Specialist

Denae Mangum

Denae has been a member of the Right Step team since 2022. She oversees the comprehensive Community Integration/Psychiatric Rehabilitation (PRP) support provided to our Mental Health clients in need of intensive community support. Denae is our resource whiz and is an asset to Right Step as well as the community!

Co-Occurring Disorder Therapist

Fatima Hassan, LCPC

Fatima joined the Right Step team in 2023. Her ideal client is one of any age who is looking forward to make positive changes and ready to learn tools that will help them succeed outside of therapy. She specializes in mood disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and youth and adolescents.

Co-Occurring Disorder Therapist

Kevin Smith, LCPC

Kevin has over 12 years of substance use disorder treatment experience and 2 years of mental health therapy experience. He specializes in dealing with depression, PTSD, bipolar, and anxiety disorders. He is able to work with all ages, however, he particularly enjoys working with children and adolescents.
